Jack-o'-lantern

Shortly after Jack died. According to legend, the

sins in life. Hell, the Devil, who was furious 
for having been duped twice, told Jack that

enter the Inferno, Jack found himself in complete 
darkness with only a burning coal to light his way. 
He placed the ember in a turnip and continues to wander 
the land since then. The Irish began to call 
this figure of "Jack of the Lantern" and then 
simply "Jack O 'Lantern."
