history of rock

In the late 1960s and early seventies, rock music developed different subgenres. When it was blended with folk music or blues or jazz, born folk rock, blues-rock and jazz-rock fusion. In the 1970s, rock incorporated influences from genres such as soul music, funkand various rhythms of Latin American countries. Later that decade, the rock has generated a number of subgenres, such as soft rock, glam rock, heavy metal, hard rock,progressive rock and punk rock. Already in the eighties, the subgenres that emerged inNew Wave, hardcore punk and alternative rock. And in the 1990s, the sub-genres werecreated grunge, Britpop, indie rock and nu metal.
